2 year warranty

Ruroc warrants snow sport helmets to be free of defects in material or workmanship for a period of 2 years from the date of purchase. The warranty is for the original purchaser only (non-transferable). If a product fails due to a manufacturing defect within the warranty period, Ruroc will repair or replace it free of charge, subject to the warranty terms and valid proof of purchase.

What's not covered?

What isn’t covered includes normal wear and tear, damage from accidents/falls/impact, cosmetic ageing/fading due to the elements, and any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss of any kind. For a complete list of what’s not covered, please check our full warranty details.

Crash Replacement (optional add-on)

Crash Replacement is an additional purchase (it's automatically added to your cart when you add a helmet) that covers accidental damage (drops/crashes). If your helmet is damaged in a crash or accident, it lets you replace it with 50% off a new Ruroc snow sports helmet, as long as it’s redeemed within the helmet’s warranty period and in line with the scheme terms. Works incredibly well. I got it specifically for the problem of my glasses fogging up from my breath on runs. The face guard has ventilation and helps the seal around the goggles so my glasses no longer fog. That said, the goggles are a tight fit. If you've got anything more than medium wireframe glasses, they may not fit inside the goggles. The ventilation in the face guard does let wind through which can make it a bit chilly, but I find by my third run, I'm warm enough that the wind feels good instead of cold. Had a hard fall on my first run out and hit my head on the snow/ice. Admittedly, the ice wasn't the hardest, but I feel like I would've had a headache for the rest of the day with my old helmet which was a Smith with MIPS. I don't know if it's the padding, the particular snow, or the newer RHEON tech, but my head did not hurt nearly as much from the impact. It did a great job of keeping my noggin safe which is it's main job. I love the twICEme built into the helmet. While I hope I never have to use it, it's peace of mind to know that if I'm ever unresponsive on the mountain, EMTs have access to my medical information and emergency contact info. As someone that takes daily prescriptions, being given the wrong things by EMT and having a reaction is a major concern. twICEme provides good peace of mind, and the use of asymmetric encryption means that I don't need to worry about someone stealing my medical data because only the EMT app can read it. All of this said, I don't know if I can justify the $380 price tag. It's all fantastic gear, but it's quite expensive. If you can get it on an end of season half off sale like I did so it's the same price as other competitive helmets, I cannot recommend it enough.

Helmet itself was good and great looking. The jaw removal system worked nicely and smooth. The size guide is terrible though and the helmet didnt fit me at all.

The previous generation lasted me 12years.. it was time for an upgrade (not because the other one fell apart, I just wanted to get another with the magnetic mask and strap). Best helmet ever
